What Should You Do If Your Being Cyberbullied?
There are many ways to deal with a cyberbully, with each way can be used with a varied effectiveness depending how you use it.
- Keep talking to the bully- This would be one of the worst ways to deal with the situation yet if your good with word play and keep your temper in check, the bully will either leave or make him self look like a fool which could give some satisfaction.
- Saying buzz off and keep doing what your doing- The effectiveness depends on the situation, if the bully’s new at cyberbullying, the person will most likely leave since you hurt there feelings. Yet if there smart they will try and use your words against you, and if theirs a group he will try and flip the tables and try and paint you as the cyberbully. So in conclusion this might be the more risky tactics.
- Stop doing what your doing and leave- This is one of the most effective strategy, yet it lacks satisfaction and if done enough could give you a bad name. Sure if you leave, the cyberbullying is done, yet if you meet them again they most likely will be commenting on your sudden leave. I would list some examples of this, but I wouldn’t want to swear, we all have our imaginations, don’t we?
- Ignore them- Similar to my last query and to my belief the most effective, using this tactic would make the cyberbully squirm. The entire reason the cyberbully’s there is to get your attention and piss you off, yet if you dont give him your attention, he will just sit there ranting like and idiot. The key thing that you must maintain though is your temper, if you lose it the cyberbully will make you pay for.
